Before you go to aggressive dog training boarding, you should know what the signs to look for that indicate that your dog is behaving badly. The biggest problem with aggressive dog training is that owners will look for the outward signs instead of focusing on the internal ones. A dog that barks constantly may be exhibiting aggressive behavior, but the bark is not coming from the dog, so the owner assumes it comes from something else. In addition, if you don’t catch your dog in the act of barking, you are less likely to get worried.
When I was in training, one of my classmates and I had a little problem with a German shepherd that barked constantly. She had a very bad temper and would always snap at other people or dogs that were in the way. This dog was out of control and her owner did not have any idea what she was doing. After several months of this kind of behavior, we took her to an obedience class and I noticed a huge improvement in her attitude. I asked the instructor if we could keep her in our dog training class to observe her. She said no, but I told her that I would be willing to learn her new tricks and train her myself.
The next day, I took her to our dog training class and I noticed that she was much calmer. When we were walking, she would look at other dogs and then look back at us and not snap at them. Instead, she held still and looked at people or other dogs and then would look away again. After only a few lessons, I noticed that she was starting to form some habits and even though she was still not completely trained, she was getting there.
We continued with our aggressive dog training and before I knew it, we went on vacation and I noticed that she stopped barking when I came in the house. This was not normal for her and so I took her to my cabin for the night. She had learned that if you want to get attention from people, you need to stop barking and this is when I noticed that I had finally found the solution to her problems. I ended up letting her stay at my cabin and on her second day we went to a park near our cabin and I noticed that she was looking for people and not snapping at any dogs that came up to her.
The third day we were back at work and I noticed that she was looking for people again, but this time she snapped at them. I immediately asked her what happened and she said that she realized that when you are aggressive dog training you have to be more covert and you don’t want to sound like you are after her. The whole point of aggressive dog training is to train your dog to act differently so that the dog doesn’t snap at people when they come by. After we went home, I asked her if she minded if I taped her behavior during her aggressive dog training. She said that she didn’t mind at all, but I guess you can’t please everyone.
All that ends today is that I am grateful that we went through aggressive dog training because it has been invaluable for my dog and also for me. She no longer barks at anyone when we are out and she gets along better with people than she ever has. So if you have a dog that barks a lot when you come home or if your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, then I would highly recommend that you look into aggressive dog training as soon as possible and don’t wait until it is too late. You will be glad that you did.
