Dog obedience commands are merely verbal signals that you relay to your dog to order to elicit the desired response from him. Dog obedience commands range from the most simple (no. – to the most complicated (sit.). If you are confused over what dog training commands to teach your dog, you can take help from dog training tips and tricks. These are helpful tools that will assist you in teaching your dog the dog obedience commands that you desire. If you want to effectively communicate with your dog, these dog training tricks and tips will be very useful.

Teaching your dog the “sit” dog obedience commands is relatively easy and fast. To teach this trick, you have to first observe your puppy or dog while he is sitting. Gently lift the dog’s rear end up and say “sit” in a firm voice. Once your dog sits, give him a treat and praise.

Teaching your dog the “down” dog training commands is not difficult if you know the basics of dog training commands. In this trick, you will use the same basic commands that will be used for teaching the sit and stay. With your palm on the dog’s back, you then have to reach down and place your palm on its stomach with the tip of your tongue. Then, using the tip of your tongue, you have to push down its stomach and bring it to your chest. Give your dog a treat and praise.

Teaching your dog the “stay” dog training commands is similar to teaching the sit and stay commands. Again, you will use the basic dog training commands of sit and stay. First, your dog should be in a standing position. With your dog’s nose to yours, you have to put your mouth against its nose and then say “stay” in a firm voice. Give the dog a treat and praise.

The dog training session for the dog with the lunging behavior should also include the basic commands of sit, stay and down. You should start by placing your palm on your dog’s back and having its nose to your tongue. Then, using signals such as your fingers and your voice, you have to bring your dog’s nose to your mouth and start saying “down”. Your dog should follow your signals without resistance.

The last dog training sessions that we will discuss are those which are related to the jumping commands. As previously stated, these commands should be taught in an incremental manner. This means that you should teach the first command, then move on to the next one and so on until all the commands have been taught. As soon as your dog has performed the command correctly, you should reward him for his success with a treat.

In the training session for the dog that jumps on people, you should make sure that you give him the treats after every successful jump. Keep in mind that the treats that you are going to use will be very small. If your dog manages to swallow one of these treats, there is a good chance that he will not remember what he was taught. You can also try to distract your dog with something else when he is about to do his jump. This way, you can take him out from the immediate vicinity and gradually move him towards the distant part of the room where the treats are being given.

When teaching these commands, you have to be consistent. Give your dog the same command each time you practice the same exercise. Also, make sure that you give your dog only the command and not any other commands at the same time. This way, your dog will learn that a command followed by any other commands will lead to a reward. It is highly recommended that you use positive reinforcements while teaching your dog, so that it will not feel afraid or confused.
